Updates on me

Hello!!!! I have pretty much NOTHING to do so i decided to write..... I have not been writing lately so here I am again! I will try to write more often...
I will update you in my life since i have not been writing about MY life very much lately... just posting really quick things that i find. So here goes:
The play i was in just recently came to an end, which makes me very sad. I had grown close to all of my fellow actors and actresses. I was in "Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol." I played a caroler and a party guest. after opening night, i had strained my voice so much ( by lines, singing, singing backstage, rehearsals all week... You get the point.) and i LOST MY VOICE. WORST.THING.FOR.MY.PART. i was supposed to be a caroler singing loudly and cheerfully but instead i had to lipsynch. i was supposed to be a loud and crazy party guest having tons of fun. (but just not as much is in parties NOW... remember this is the 1800's.)but my voice sounded scratchy and yuck. Some of my friends ( *AHEM!!*** TYLER AND LUIS!!!*** ) Could NOT stop making fun of me... very funny, guys. but it was gone the WHOLE weekend. But thanks to Mrs. Demassie ( the BEST backstage mom EVER!!) and a chamomile tea with double honey as a treat, my voice was not AS bad... but it was still pretty bad. The following Tuesday was slow/fast line rehearsal ( I am just realizing we got NO REST WHATSOEVER.) and it was fun. we did the entire play in fast motion and it took only 1 1/2 hours. Unlike the usual 3 hours the play takes (UGH!) after, we all went out to the ramp where it was iced over(YESSS!!!) and we went tennie-skating. Lydia, Jason, and Annessa all fell on their butts. it was funny! I ALMOST fell a million times but Garrett caught me .(thanks, garrett.) Now it is all over and Ms. Joann (the director) has started Winnie The Pooh. Which i will not be participating in because of basketball... BUT i HAD wanted the part of queen Bee. IT IS SO FUN!!!!!! And last but not least, i have developed a recent obsession with showtunes ( i.e. wicked, the phantom of the opera) and i am sure it is because i have theatre brain. my ipod has showtunes from wicked, Phantom of the opera, and hairspray. My friend Annessa and my friends Lydia, Kristen, Abby grace, ivy beth, sarah, and christina have tried out for winnie the pooh and i wish them good luck on the parts they want, and i will post the parts they got when i can!
